Update Through Pictures

 It is obvious by now that I am not good at keeping up with a blog. Because so much has happened to our family in the last six months it is somewhat pointless to try to catch up at this point.  I am going to try to post pictures that might show what has been going on in our lives since a "picture is worth a thousand words". That way I don't have to type those thousands of words.

The girls have also had a major shift in friends.  I am happy to report though that we have all found at least one friend in California.

 

We drove the Utah-N.California route along I-80.  3 times.

The most recent trip was for Whitney's wedding:

 Where Ella and Kate were flower girls.

I was also able to visit some old friends while being "honored" for being old.:

We were able to visit Spanish Fork, Payson and Moroni where we were able to visit cousins, Grandma Lund and Sophie who passed away a couple of weeks ago. :(

A few days after returning home, we were able to have some loved ones visit:  (Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures of Grandma and Grandpa Keisel or Jared and Leslie's families.  I will need to ask Grandpa Earl for copies of his pictures)

 For Ella's baptism:

  The Giants won the World Series and Nate and Justin took some time off to go to the parade.  (I won't post the picture of the nude lady who walked proudly down the parade route, well she did have a thong on, but really. You might ask why we have a picture of said lady...good question.)

We ate a lot of pie.  Ella even won a ribbon for her pie-eating abilities.

 

 Over all we are adjusting well to the changes in our lives and are appreciative of the extra time we have had to spend together as a family.
